Tomophase Corporation acquired by Winstar from China

BURLINGTON, MA – April 18, 2014 – Tomophase Corporation, a leading developer of minimally invasive optical coherence tomography (OCT) tissue imaging devices, announced today that Guangdong Winstar Medical Science Company, a medical company from China, has acquired the whole company assets of Tomophase corporation. And the company name will change to Tomophase Incorporation instead of its former name Tomophase Corporation.

Dr. Peter Norris, founder and former president of Tomophase Corporation, is currently acting as the senior advisor of the new company. The main technical personnel of Tomophase Corp. will continue to work for the new company. The Company's business is expanding, especially in increasing the development and clinical data collection in Chinese market.
